So friends, after some inquiries today comes my first of a total of three New Year’s Eve outfits for you. Tomorrow and Wednesday will be followed by two more, but today we start with this one. Look 1 is a relatively simple, but all the more glamorous combination, consisting of a black velvet dress with belt and golden knitwear, combined with black overknee boots and a velvet clutch. As accessories, I wear some beautiful star earrings. I think this look proves that you do not need so many different pieces to create a cool New Year’s Eve look. The best of all my New Year’s styling? Even after New Year’s Eve you can carry all parts without problems.

1. WEAR WITH LAYERING-LOOKS

Overknee boots are always an eye-catcher. Who wears it in everyday life, should therefore make sure that the styling does not look too sexy (unless it is desired;)). Personally, I therefore like to combine Overknees in combination with a layered look. This looks more casual and takes the boots a bit of their wicked character. An example of an everyday layering look with overknee boots can be found here and here by me.

2. SETTING ON STYLES

For celebrating or New Year’s Eve, it may also be something more “cliché”, i. Overknee boots are also easy on shorter skirts and dresses. In everyday life, however, one should rather rely on style breaks. In other words, combine your Overknees with casual pieces like an oversize sweater, a cool knit dress or a cuddly cardigan with jeans.

3. COLORED OVERKNEE BOOTS FOR BOLD

Black overknee boots are the classic under the boots and always go. Therefore, I would recommend the purchase of the first pair of simple, black models. The brave ones or Overknee Addicts, who already have the classic in their closet, should definitely consider other color options as well. My personal favorites (both black and colored) can be found here 🙂
